CSU in Wagga has unveiled the country’s largest ever solar panel installation on a single site, with the installation of PV panels on the rooftops of 17 buildings set to provide around 20 percent of the electricity needed to power the campus.

Manager of CSU Green, Ed Maher, says the energy the University will create for itself will reduce the need to rely so heavily on the electricity network and is part of their contribution to being a leader in carbon neutrality.

The system is valued at over $3.2 million and was constructed over six months.
