The Rural Fire Service will be conducting hazard reduction burns around Explorer Park in Boorooma tomorrow, from around 9am to 1pm.
The controlled burns are in preparation for the Bushfire Danger Period.
Local residents are being advised to keeping their doors and windows closed, remove washing from clothes lines, and making sure their pets are kept in a protected area while the burns are taking place.
Motorists in the area should also slow down and take extra care if they’re driving through smoke, keep the windows up and turn their headlights on.
