Helicopter patrolling powerlines across the Riverina
Inspections to take 3 weeks
Residents across the Riverina may notice a low flying helicopter across the region over the next few weeks, but there’s no cause for alarm, with Transgrid using it to inspect more than 13 thousand kilometres of electricity infrastructure.
The entire region will be covered, from the Snowy Mountains and South West Slopes to the Western Riverina, Far West and down to the Victorian Border.
Locals who want more information on where the helicopter will fly over the coming weeks can contact Transgrid’s hotline on 1800 222 537, or check their website.
