Five New Monitors for Children's Ward

Community groups and individuals who helped raise more than $92,000 for five new cardiac monitors for the Paediatric and Adolescent Unit at Wagga Rural Referral Hospital will be formally thanked today.

The monitors feed data directly from the patient’s room into a single monitor at the nurse’s station, allowing staff to monitor more children more safely.

The money was raised through the Give Me 5 for Kids appeal, by Dr Karl Henman in Wagga Takes Two, and Teys Australia through their charity golf day.
