Junee Inmates Collaborate for a Cause
Project to Benefit Can Assist
Inmates at the Junee Correctional Centre enrolled in a TAFE trade course will work together on a big new project, aimed at raising money for a local cancer charity.
Part of a partnership between TAFE NSW and the GEO group, the project will see the inmates fully restore a WB Holden ute, which, once complete, will be raffled off to raise money for Junee Can Assist.
It’s hoping to raise up to $50,000, there are plans to take the ute to this year’s Deniliquin Ute Muster, and to the Bathurst 1000.
