Lake Albert Could Host New Year's Eve
Council to Consider Proposal
Wagga City Council will consider a proposal from Thomas Brothers Group, to hold a New Years’ Eve Wagga Skyworks event at Lake Albert, at tonight’s Ordinary Meeting.
The proposal was the only one received by Council in response to calls for expressions of interest for local groups to host New Years’ Eve festivities in the city, following news the Committee 4 Wagga will no longer stage Wagga Live.
A report to Council will recommend that it authorise up to $45,000 in financial support for the delivery of the proposed event.
