Community Groups in the Wagga and Cootamundra electorates have received funding grants, as part of the State Governments recent funding initiative, helping to enhance NAIDOC week activities.
The Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council and Henschke Primary School each receiving a grant to help with their cultural activities.
NSW Minister for Aboriginal Affairs Sarah Mitchell says 116 grants worth a total of $200,000 have been invested in NAIDOC week this year.
NAIDOC week commences this coming Sunday, July 2.
