McCormack Confirms He'll Vote Yes

Riverina MP Michael McCormack says he will uphold the will of the people in Parliament, when the time comes to vote on the Same Sex Marriage bill.

Mr McCormack says 54.6% of the electorate of Riverina have returned a yes response, and as the Member of Parliament representing the people within the electorate he will be respecting and voting in support of the result.

Meantime, Associate Professor of Political Science at CSU, Dominic O’Sullivan, says he expects the government will move quickly, to ease the tensions within the Coalition.
