Rent Choice Youth Expands

Young people at risk of homelessness in the Murrumbidgee district will have increased access to support services under an innovative rental assistance program designed to help support young people into housing.

Rent Choice Youth is designed to break the cycle of disadvantage, helping young people at risk of living on the street find accommodation, access educational and employment opportunities, and sustain private rental tenancy.

Minister for Social Housing, Pru Goward says the state government will spend $4 million on the subsidy this financial year, with it’s expansion into new regions like ours.
