The Chair of the state government’s new Natural Resources Access Regulator, Craig Knowles, says it will not hesitate to act, should its compliance teams find anyone breaking the law.

Minister for Regional Water, Niall Blair says the commencement of the NRAR this week marks a new era of water regulation and compliance in NSW, demonstrating the government’s commitment to improving water management.

On the ground compliance inspections will begin next week, in the meantime a hotline has been set up for the public to report any compliance concerns on 1800 633 362.
