The second day of an intensive search of the Lester State Forest has failed to recover the body of missing 27 year old woman Allecha Boyd, despite more than 60 police officers having scoured the bush for two days.

Ms Boyd was last seen in Coolamon on the afternoon of August 10, 2017, police believe she was murdered some time that afternoon.

Two men have since been charged separately with her murder, their cases are currently before the courts.

Detective Inspector Darren Cloake says police will continue to search the area until Allecha is discovered, and they can bring her back to her family.
