A man and woman are facing court in Wagga, charged with a string of offences over numerous police pursuits yesterday.

Police will allege the Holden Commodore was stolen from Victoria, after it's owner was forced out, and involved in a number of chases with Murray River and Riverina District police.

It started at Wahgunyah, near the Border, and ended at Uranquinty.

At one point, it's alleged the Commodore was driven directly at a police vehicle near The Rock.

The 24 year old man and 25 year old woman were eventually arrested while allegedly attempting to carjack a Mazda ute at Uranquinty, police saying the Commodore had forced it off the road.
