Wagga Police are continuing investigations into violent incidents at two of the city’s busiest taxi ranks over the weekend, one of which saw a 35 year old man taken to hospital with a broken nose.

That happened at Gurwood Street in the early hours of Sunday morning, shortly before police were called back to a second scuffle at the Station Place taxi rank.

Officers are reviewing CCTV footage of both incidents and expect charges will be laid.

Police were also called to Mandang Street where a number of fights broke out, after earlier noise complaints, with a brick smashing the windscreen of one of their vehicles.
