Police Find Suspicious Material in Truck

Wagga Police will await the results of forensic testing on suspicious substances allegedly found during the search of a truck they stopped in Tobruk Street, Ashmont.

Clear plastic bags containing what police believe to be cannabis was found in the truck, driven by a 21 year old man from Picton, as well as some tablets and a vial of liquid.

Police searched a total of 30 people over the weekend, with 10 drug-related offences detected.
