In the Riverina Football League, Leeton Whitton got the better of the reigning premiers for the second time this season, beating Wagga Tigers 6.12.48 to 5.5.35 on a wet Robertson Oval.

In the other games, Collingullie Glenfield Park had another win, taking down Turvey Park 15.3.93 to 7.7.49, Ganmain had a 33 point win over Narrandera, 16.12.108 to 11.9.75 and Griffith were too good for Coolamon, winning 16.11.107 to 4.11.35.
