Riverina Cancer Care Centre Needs Volunteers

Transport To Treatment Drivers Needed

Article heading image for Riverina Cancer Care Centre Needs Volunteers

Wagga residents with a class C driver’s license, and some free time, are being called on to help out the Riverina Cancer Care Centre, which needs more volunteer bus drivers to help transport cancer patients to and from Lilier Lodge for treatment.

Currently the Centre only has seven volunteer bus drivers, covering shifts 5 days a week, meaning each one has a heavy workload.

An average day requires a 4 to 5 hour commitment, days are flexible and full training is provided.
Anyone able to help out is being urged to contact Liane Walters at the Riverina Cancer Care Centre.
