Rural Training Hub a Step Closer in Wagga

The search has begun for academics and senior doctors to guide graduate doctors through their vocational studies at a Rural Training Hub in Wagga.

The University of New South Wales is officially locked in to provide training to the professionals seeking to become a special type of GP, known as a Rural Generalist.

Assistant Health Minister, David Gillespie says it complements 25 other hubs around the country, looking to encourage more doctors to live and work regionally.
