Searches in Kooringal and Marrar see police seize illegal drugs

The Riverina region enforcement squad has allegedly seized methamphetamine, cash, chemicals unidentified tablets and rifle parts, after searching a man in Kooringal and a property at Marrar.

Officers stopped a 26 year old man on Cochrane Street on Wednesday, allegedly seizing 25 capsules, more than 48 grams of methamphetamine and over $2,000 in cash.

That search then led them to Marrar, where they allegedly seized the firearm parts, chemicals and more tablets.

The man has been charged with drug offences, and was refused bail by police.
