A 30 year old man found guilty of murder over the death of 16 year old Wagga boy James Cleghorn has been sentenced to 30 years in jail, with a non-parole period of 22 years.

Bryce Cliff was found guilty of murder during a trial in the Wagga Supreme Court in Feburary, the jury handing down the verdict after more than two weeks of evidence.

Nine News reports James Cleghorn was stabbed around 30 times at his home in Acacia Street, Kooringal on June 7, 2016.
