Start Date Set for Wagga Levee Upgrade
Work Gets Underway October 3

It’s been a long time coming, but work will officially start on Wagga’s Main City Levee Bank upgrade on October 3.
The start date was announced yesterday, after the exchange of contracts, stage one of the upgrade is expected to take 6 months to complete.
General Manager Robert Knight says the announcement is a huge milestone important project, and it's now in a position where all parties are confident what is built will be best for the community.
