The Wagga community has paid tribute to servicemen and woman past and present, turning out in numbers for ANZAC Day commemorations.

The day started with the Dawn Service at the Cenotaph, thousands of locals rising early to pay their respects in the traditional way.

A large crowd has also turned out for the ANZAC Day March on Baylis Street, ending with a poingant service at the Victory Memorial Gardens.

An ANZAC Day Sunset Service will be held this afternoon at the Wagga RSL Club memorial from 5.30.
