It’s National Volunteer Week, and Save the Children is asking locals in the Murrumbidgee region to consider becoming mentors for the recently launched Youth Frontiers 2018 program.

It provides under-engaged kids aged between 12 and 16 the opportunity to be mentored by a local volunteer, and work collaboratively on a community project of their own choice.

Local Save the Children team leader Bre Camp says they’re currently looking for mentors for programs across the Murrumbidgee region, including in Wagga and Lake Cargelligo.
