Wagga residents are being encouraged to do their bit for those less fortunate this weekend, and donate warm clothing, blankets, bedding, furniture or canned food, for Operation Wagga Wagga Winter Warmth.

It’s being held on Sunday between 8am and 1pm, when donations can be dropped off to Elders on Kincaid Street, or call Elders on the day to make arrangements for items to be picked up on (02) 69 2346 666.

The goods will be passed on to the Salvation Army and St Vincent De Paul, and distributed locally to those doing it tough this winter.
