Wagga Property Market to Heat Up
Attracting Interest from City Buyers
Wagga real estate agents are expecting a busy spring, with a new report from Raine and Horne predicting buyers who’ve been priced out of the Sydney property market will drive up values in regional centres like Wagga.
The city’s strong economic and population growth, economic diversity, low unemployment rate and the fact that it’s a central hub providing services to over 185 thousand people in the Riverina make it attractive to owner-occupiers and investors.
The winter market has been unusually busy as well, leading to a shortage of housing stock, with listings down 20 percent.
