Our local politicians were dishing out good news in Wagga yesterday, Riverina MP Michael McCormack joined by State MP Daryl Maguire, to make two funding announcements.

The first amounted to over $40,000 for Wagga tourism business Food I Am, to help with the cost of building an all-weather deck, increasing capacity and helping to meet growing demand.

The second announcement saw the Marrambidya Wetland granted more than $100,000.

It’s around half the money needed to build a new welcome hub and cultural experience, tipped to attract around 7000 visitors a year.
