High quality events that will attract people from far and wide into Bunbury’s CBD will be held over the summer period to help bring vibrancy and diversity to the city centre.
The CBD Summer Events Program will feature three experiences that involve street closures and engage local providers to give the community an engaging and enjoyable outing.
The events include the Artisan Fayre on 2 December by Whatson Events SW; the Geographe Summer Wine Festival on 28 January by the Geographe Wine Association; and the Bunbury Food and Wine Festival on 31 March by Mizhap Productions.
All three have each received $4000 in cash from the City of Bunbury, along with in-kind support for road closures and waste services.
The CBD Summer Series follows on from a successful trial in 2016-17 that included the first Artisan Fayre, Fringe Festival Street Party and parkour competition that drew big crowds into the CBD.
