There's every chance that if you're around Margaret River today, there could be some road dramas at about 2pm today.
In preparation for the new Margaret River Perimeter Road being built, there will be a temporary road closure of Bussell Highway at the northern entrance of town.
From 2:00pm to 2:15pm, Bussell Highway 1.5km north of town will be closed off for the blasting of rock.
Main Roads WA issuing the alert, rising safety concerns if the road was to be open during the process.
There will be no detours planned, however local roads can still be used.
The speed limit will be reduced to 60km/h and intermittent lane closures with speed reduced to 40km/h at times.
