A large crowd gathered in Perth today to demand action from the WA government after a series of shark attacks and incidents.
Arranged by the South West Safe Shark Group the group met at Parlt House at 11 o'clock this morming saying businesses were in trouble and people are now afraid to swim in WA waters.
Group spokesman Keith Halnan addressed the crowd saying the McGowan govt is not doing enough to allay fears, especially in the tourism industry.
Fisheries Minister Dave Kelly was heckled after saying the govt is doing what it can, saying the threat of sharks is a "difficult issue"
