A smoke alert has been issued for parts of the Southwest and Perth, including the areas between Two Rocks to Bunbury, and the Perth hills to Harvey.
The smoke is a result of prescribed burns being carried out by Parks and Wildlife Service at the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions.
The burns are located 25km south-east of Mundaring and 25km south-east of Dwellingup. These burns have been identified as high priority, reducing fuel loads and assisting in protecting the towns of Mundaring, Sawyers Valley, Chidlow and Dwellingup.
Smoke is expected to clear by tomorrow afternoon.
Please take care on the roads if travelling through smoke affected areas.
