Two new exhibitions will open at BRAG on Friday December 8, as part of a Christmas celebration.
12 Days of Christmas will showcase painting, photography, craft, jewellery, sculpture and more, which will be available for purchase.
Arts and Culture Education and Communications Officer Michele Grimston said giving handmade gifts is a great idea for Christmas.
“There are so many gifts available at this time of year, it’s really wonderful to be able to share this range of objects that have been made with such passion and care,” she said.
“As well as this, it’s a chance to support local artists and craftspeople over the Christmas season.”
Rebecca Corps: Resonant Recycling is the final exhibition in BRAG's 2017 Convent Gallery program, which provides opportunities for artists in the early stages of their career.
Rebecca Corps is an honours graduate from ECU South West’s visual arts program in 2016.
In Resonant Recycling, Corps explores society’s fascination with the “new and improved” and the constant push to renovate and replace our objects and clothing.
Exhibition Opening: Friday 8 December 6pm
