Naming two cute new arrivals at Bunbury Wildlife Park will fall into the arms of school students and shoppers with the “Name The Dingo” campaign under way at Bunbury Forum Shopping Centre during the second week of the school holidays.
Two dingo pups are expected to arrive in August after being born in the Eastern States in May.
Maidens Park, Picton, Cooinda, Djidi Djidi and Dalyellup primary school students have each created a colourful life-size dingo cut-out, which were generously donated by the Capel Men’s Shed, that will go on display at the Bunbury Forum Shopping Centre from 10 to 16 July outside Woolworths supermarket.
Shoppers will be encouraged to vote for their favourite entry and the two that attract the most votes will win the right to name a dingo each. The schools will also receive a $1000 voucher from Bunbury Forum Shopping Centre, plus 20 family passes to the Bunbury Wildlife Park.
Shoppers also have the chance to win a grand prize of a $200 Bunbury Forum Shopping Centre voucher and a family pass to the Bunbury Wildlife Park, and four runner-up prizes of a family pass to the Bunbury Wildlife Park.
