A 32 year old woman has been charged with murder, following an investigation into the death of a baby boy.
On October 31st 2017, a 9-month-old boy was found unresponsive at his home near Dareton.
He was taken to Mildura Base Hospital, and then flown to Melbourne's Royal Children's Hospital in a critical condition.
Despite best efforts, the child passed away on the 1st of November 2017.
Detectives from the State Crime Command's Child Abuse and Sex Crimes established Strike Force Pembrook to investigate the circumstances of the death.
At the time, officers were told the boy's 22-month-old brother had jumped on him.
The woman has been arrested, and appeared in Wentworth Local Court.
She has been refused bail, and is scheduled to appear in court next month.
