Health Bodies Try To Improve Rural Health Infrastructure!

Rural and remote health officials from across Australia have travelled to Canberra this week - for the annual get-together of the National Rural Health Alliance.

Australia's largest peak non-government organisation for rural health met over three days to discuss the state of rural and regional health infrastructure.

This year's meetings discussed the gaps experienced in health care and well being between metro and non-metro areas; including techniques to bring health-related infrastructure to those living regionally, rural, or remotely.

Interim CEO of the Alliance Mark Diamond says it's the rural and remote people themselves & the organisations that are working to help, who are best placed to understand the issues and to generate and manage solutions.
