Residents across Sunraysia are being urged to keep their property secure and avoid leaving valuables unattended, as investigations continue into thefts across the region.
Between 6.30 and 7.30 pm on Saturday afternoon (11/11/2017), a backpack holding three mobile phones, two tablets computers and three rings was stolen from a bench at Nowingi Place.
The owner had left it to play with their children on the play equipment, and came back to discover it was stolen.
A similar incident occurred approximately an hour earlier at a public pool on Deakin Avenue in Mildura; with a backpack stolen from a change room floor.
Mildura Police are urging anyone with information or who noticed suspicious behaviour in these places to come forward and call Mildura Police Station on (03) 5018 5300, or report online to Crime Stoppers.
