Sunraysia students will be learning vital lifesaving skills with the best of the best, as Life Saving Victoria visits the region today.
The Open Water Learning Experience (OWLE) Program will see Life Saving Victoria instructors delivering a 2 hour practical program to familiarise students with their local open water environments.
The Experience works to teach kids how to be water ready in and around water, with strategies such as idenitfying dangers like rip current and understanding key safety signs.
The programs are delivered in areas deemed "at risk" for drowning death and injury, reaching over 2500 kids across the State.
The OWLE programs are delivered to regions that are deemed at risk for drowning death and injury, with instructors meeting students at Apex Park today.
