Mildura Police are still searching for missing teenager Nicky Dolheguy.
The 16-year-old was last seen at her Merbein home at around 6pm on Saturday and there are concerns for her welfare. She has been described as around 160 centimetres tall, with dark hair and medium build and has been known to frequent the Dareton area.
The Victoria Police media website has released an image of Nicky, with locals being urged to report any information to Crime Stoppers, or, the Mildura Police Station.
NSW Police are putting out the call for motorists to drive to conditions when travelling on rural roads as they present risks that are unique to the area with 7 people losing their lives on NSW rural roads over 2 days.
The rural road toll now sits at 152, compared to the 49 in metropolitan areas.
Assistant Commissioner of NSW Police, Michael Corboy, says that these risks are what Police will continue to focus on in the hope that they can change driver behaviour.
Mildura Police are investigating the circumstances behind a brawl in a late night licensed venue.
The fight started on Langtree Avenue, before spilling out into the street and into the mall. Both males and females were involved in the fight, with officers using footage from Safe City Cameras.
Ambulance Officers were called to the scene to treat two females with head lacerations, blood nose, bruising and swelling. A third female was offered assistance, but, refused.
Officers will continue to work with venue owners and investigate violence around the region.
