Community groups and local governments across the South West Region have the opportunity to apply for funds under the NSW Government's 2018 Restoration and Rehabilitation Grant program.
The scheme works to support local environmental projects that restore, protect, and enhance a variety of NSW environments.
Grants between $5,000 to $100,000 are available to help restore habitats for native and endangered species, improve water quality and rehabilitate wetland areas, with funds of up to $2,000,000 available for local governments.
The program has been working with landholders, local councils, government agencies, and community groups to restore habitats for native and endangered species for over 20 years.
Member for Murray Austin Evans is urging locals to take part in the scheme.
Applications close March 26th.
