Anthony Ljubicic of Nichols Point has faced Mildura Magistrate's Court, being found guilty for failing to comply with a Clean Up Notice.
The Notice was issued by the Environmental Protection Authority; officers reportedly gave the occupier of the site more than seven months to remove large piles of industrial waste.
The piles of waste were reportedly half a metre high and covered an area of approximately 1600 square metres, and included broken concrete, asphalt-like material, scrap metal and plastic.
Mr Anthony Ljubicic has been issued $6500 in fines, and ordered to cover $1500 in costs for failing to comply with the notice.
He now has until June 10th 2019 too remove all industrial waste from the premises.
