Blues Players Accused Of Drinking Before Origin Decider Named

The original Breezer Boys have been named as the players being investigated by the NSW Blues for allegedly drinking before the Origin decider.

There are reports former Canberra Raiders teammates Blake Ferguson and Josh Dugan broke from NSW camp to go out drinking on the Friday before Game 3, when the team had a day off.

Locals have reported spotting the pair drinking at Lennox Point Hotel for several hours, while their teammates were in camp at Kingscliff.

They're renowned for taking selfies of themselves drinking Bacardi Breezers on the roof of their Canberra home back in 2013, instead of going to a recovery session with their Raiders' teammates.

NSWRL CEO David Trodden confirmed they will look into the reports, "We have been made aware of reports of Josh Dugan and Blake Ferguson being at a hotel on their day off."

"We were previously unaware but it is one of the matters that will be looked at in our review of the 2017 series."
