Bus driver charged with sex assault of schoolgirl

The driver of a special-needs bus service in Sydney's southwest has been charged with the sexual and indecent assault of a schoolgirl.

A 51-year-old man was arrested at a Bass Hill home on Monday and a bus was seized for forensic examination, police said.

It's alleged the driver sexually and indecently assaulted the teenage girl while alone with her on the bus earlier this year.

The man will face Bankstown Local Court on Tuesday.
