In news that is probably surprising to no one, there are dramas on the train network this afternoon.
Services were disrupted earlier today following a power surge at Central at roughly 10.45am.
The Inner West line and the Leppington line are mostly affected, with commuters advised to allow extra travel time.
Also, be sure to listen to announcements, check the indicator board and real time apps as stopping patterns may change at short notice.
Sydney Trains have tweeted on social media, advising that they were "working hard to get services back on time ASAP".
- T1 North Shore, Northern: Services have reportedly returned to normal, but earlier signal equipment repairs at Hornsby have caused some delays.
- T2 Inner West, Leppington: There are still delays, so commuters are advised to check real-time apps and allow extra travel time.
- T3 Bankstown: Delays due to Central power outage.
- T8 : Delays continue following incident at Central this morning.
