Family Of Chatswood Crash Victim Thanks Supporters

Five days after Heather Croxon was hit by an out-of-control car at Chatswood while on her way to work, the 31 year old has died in hospital.

The blogger passing away in Royal North Shore Hospital on Wednesday with her sister Amanda Andrews taking to Facebook to thank family, friends, colleagues and even the Penrith Panthers for their support.

"I have to say a special thanks to Penrith Panthers who sent out a signed jersey, which arrived just before her final moments. She had it with her to the end a loyal loving fan."

Ms Croxon suffered serious head injuries and multiple fractures when a Toyota sedan being driven by a 67 year old man, mounted the kerb clipping a pram before hitting her and flipping on Victoria Avenue last Friday morning.

The driver has undergone mandatory blood and urine testing and depending on results, charges could be pending as investigations continue.

"Unfortunately things don't always work out the way we planned. Today I said goodbye to my beautiful big sister who as I held her hand she took her last breath and passed on peacefully. I would like to thank all of her friends for all the mischief they got up to. All of our family for rallying when we needed them the most. Her blog friends for all the love they sent out to her. I have to mention Heathers boss and Sinta for the amazing support they've given us and Ardy for being our rock we can't thank you guys enough. A special mention to the complete strangers that offered there love and support, that's very rare and very much appreciated."
