New South Wales will be battered by waves of fierce storms on Monday, with giant hail, flash flooding and heavy rain predicted to start the week.
Sydney will feel the brunt of the storm on Monday afternoon, which may last through to Tuesday evening.
This will be followed by rain for the rest of the week, according to a report by smh.com.au.
Surf conditions will also be effected, with warnings for rock fishers, surfers and swimmers along the NSW coast.
