It was a chilly weekend, and it seems as though we're in for another freezing day in Sydney.
Strong winds and heavy rain are on the way for Sydney, Illawarra and the Hunter region.
"Damaging, averaging 60 to 65 km/h with peak gusts in excess of 90 km/h are possible," a spokesperson from the Bureau of Meteoreology said.
"A south to southwesterly wind change is forecast to move along the coast, reaching the Hunter coast by late morning. Showers associated with this change may bring damaging wind gusts along the coastal fringe."
It is advised that you park undercover and put any loose outdoor items away.
Showers will continue until Wednesday, with temperatures to hover between 8C and 18C all week.
