We're in for a hot and dry start to November, with temperatures predicted to reach the high 30s on Friday.
This comes after a very cool and wet October.
In Sydney's west, temperatures will hit 38C in Penrith and Campbelltown on Friday.
In Richmond, Holsworthy and Liverpool it will be 37C.
It will be slightly cooler in the east, with it predicted to hover around the low 30s in Bondi.
On Saturday, there will be a bit of a break for the west, with temperatures in the low 30s, and it will drop further on Sunday to 28C-30C.
