Authorities are asking for public assistance as part of ongoing investigations into allegations of Compulsory Third Party insurance fraud.

Strike Force Ravens has been set up to investigate into criminal syndicates targeting CTP insurance.

As part of ongoing inquiries the Strike Force has executed two search warrants and conducted a vehicle recovery operation yesterday (Thursday 6 April 2017)

Police along with Marine Area Command and Police Divers salvaged a car from the Georges River at Floyds Bay Boat Ramp, Lansvale

During the search warrants in Auburn and Bankstown police seized a variety of documents and electronic storage devices for forensic examination.

NSW Minister for Finance, Services and Property Victor Dominella said Green Slip fraud was costing all motorists through higher premiums "make no mistake, this isn't just a fraud against insurance companies. This is fraud against every motorist that pays a Green Slip."
