A man is fighting for life after falling down a flight of stairs at Plumpton High School this morning.
The 55-year-old was found collapsed at the bottom of a flight of concrete stairs having gone into cardiac arrest.
It's not known if he's a teacher or a cleaner.
Paramedics were first on the scene starting CPR before a CareFlight helicopter landed on playing courts at about 8.00am to drop off the critical care team.
The man was intubated and provided with vital fluids to resuscitate him.
He was then given a police escort through heavy traffic to Westmead Hospital for ongoing care.
