NRMA Slams False Price Cycle

The NRMA is slamming the major oil companies for a false petrol price cycle, that has prices fall five cents less than expected.

Families are feeling the brunt of the rip-offs with the average price in Sydney currently $1.29 cents per litre - but were expected to drop to $1.16 last week but fell five cents short before spiking again.

The NRMA says prices in Sydney have missed the low point of the cycle, robbing families of the chance to save at the bowser and further boosting the bottom line for oil companies who are failing to pass on falling wholesale fuel prices.
