A school in far-west New South Wales is currently in lockdown after three inmates escaped from a local jail.
Broken Hill High issued a warning at 11am today.
"The school is in complete lockdown. Three inmates have escaped the local jail," the tweet said.
"Two have been detained, one is still at large. Children are safe and secure.
"Please do not come to the school or try to phone your children. We will inform you when lockdown is over."
