Police have arrested over 30 people following a two-month long drug bust targeting 'dial-a-dealer' syndicates in Sydney.
Twenty-eight men and eight women were arrested last month after a police sting which saw 486 grams of cocaine, 196 grams of MDMA, $120,000 in cash, two loaded firearms and a number of cars seized.
Approximately 2000 phone numbers have also been recovered from the operation.
"What we'll be doing today is sending SMS text messages to each of those persons to ascertain if they can help us further with our inquiries," he told reporters in Sydney.
"(It) will be coming from Crime Stoppers (and say) 'your number has been in contact with a person supplying cocaine, are you able to assist us with our inquiries'."
There is no obligation on the person who receives the message to reply.
More than 120 charges have been laid in total following the arrests.
